Returns
If you are not satisfied with your product, you have the right to return the shipment for a refund or exchange.
A 14-day return policy applies. This means you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
How to return your item:
- Send an email to kontakt@frisomenfagel.shop with the subject line “Return” and let us know that you would like to return your item. You may use the Swedish Consumer Agency’s cancellation form if you wish, available here: [Konsumentverkets ångerblankett].
- You will receive a reply within 48 hours with instructions on where and how to return the product.
- As the customer, you are responsible for the return shipping cost, which is the same amount as the original delivery fee. A return label will be sent to you, and the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Requirements:
- You must request a return before sending the item. Items returned without a prior return request will not be accepted.
- If the product is not in its original condition upon return, Fri som en fågel reserves the right to make a deduction for any reduction in the product’s value resulting from your handling. Please include your order confirmation with the return.
- You must return the item within 14 days after requesting a return. Returns sent after this period will not be accepted.
After your return has been sent:
- Once we receive your return, we will confirm that your item has been received.
- Refunds are normally processed within 14 days from the date Fri som en fågel receives your return request. If the product is not returned within the allowed timeframe, the return will not be accepted.
- If your return is approved, the full amount will be refunded, including the original shipping cost. However, the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. The refund will be issued using your original payment method, without undue delay.
Faulty or Damaged Items – Complaints
You have the right to make a complaint about faulty goods within 3 years and 2 months from the date of purchase.
- All products are inspected before dispatch. If your item is damaged or incorrect upon arrival, Fri som en fågel will remedy the issue in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, at no cost to you.
- You must contact Fri som en fågel for approval before returning a defective item.
- You must report the issue within a reasonable timeframe (2 months) after discovering the defect – preferably as soon as possible.
To file a complaint:
- Email kontakt@frisomenfagel.shop with your name, address, email address, a description of the issue, and pictures of the defect.
- You will receive a response within 48 hours. If the defect cannot be rectified or replaced, Fri som en fågel will refund you for the faulty item according to consumer law.
- Fri som en fågel reserves the right to reject a complaint if the product is found not to be defective under current consumer protection laws.
Refunds
- Once we receive your return, we will confirm that your item has been received.
- Refunds are normally processed within 14 days from the date Fri som en fågel receives your cancellation request. If the product is not returned within the 14-day window, the return will not be accepted.
- If the return is approved, the full amount will be refunded, including the original shipping cost. The refund will be issued to your original payment method without undue delay after the return is approved.
Digital Products & Right of Withdrawal
According to the Swedish Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (2005:59), consumers do not have the right to withdraw from purchases of digital products (such as PDFs, downloadable files or online content) once delivery has begun – provided that the consumer has actively agreed to waive the right of withdrawal.
When purchasing digital products from Fri som en fågel, you are required to accept these terms at checkout before completing your purchase. By checking the box, you agree that:
- The delivery of the product begins immediately, and
- You therefore waive your right of withdrawal.
This ensures transparency and complies with current consumer legislation.
